Our story began with two lifelong friends, Róbert Szőke-Tóth and Lajos Eiler, both born into respected Hungarian winemaking families. United by a shared passion for viticulture and a vision for excellence, they founded our winery in 1990, shortly after the fall of the Iron Curtain, determined to continue and elevate their families’ traditions.
In 1996, they took a bold step by acquiring one of Hungary’s former largest state-owned wineries in Kiskunmajsa. This location is of special importance, as it lies in Hungary’s largest wine-growing region, an area renowned for its ideal climatic and soil conditions for winemaking.
Since then, the company has grown into Hungary’s largest wine producer, combining generations of winemaking expertise with cutting-edge technology and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Today, we employ over 150 professionals, from seasoned experts who have been with us since the beginning to dynamic young oenologists, office staff, and marketing specialists. With four production sites and a total storage capacity of 40 million liters, our winery represents the pinnacle of modern Hungarian winemaking.
All of these production facilities are located within Hungary’s largest wine-growing region, giving us a distinct advantage over other producers thanks to the abundance of high-quality grapes and optimal production conditions.
We craft wines from both Austro-Hungarian grape varieties—such as Grüner Veltliner, Müller-Thurgau, and Welschriesling—and international varieties like Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay, ensuring a diverse and well-balanced portfolio that appeals to a wide range of tastes and markets.
Each year, we process grapes from our own vineyards as well as from over 4,000 small farmers and cooperatives across the country, ensuring both diversity and excellence in our wines. Our head oenologist, Attila Eiler, is recognized nationwide for his craftsmanship, supported by a talented team of young professionals and laboratory experts.
We proudly supply all major retail chains and wholesalers with bottled wines and export bulk wines to leading wineries and sparkling wine producers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, and Croatia.
