Med.&A. – The National Association of Brokers and Sales Agents was founded in 2000 by the will of its first president, Stefano Graziani, and a group of agents and brokers in the wine sector with the aim of protecting the category in dealings with employment union bodies and authorities and with technical, economic and social issues impacting on the bulk wine trade. Today, with its 20 affiliated companies, representing around one hundred operators in the sector dealing with about 15 million hectolitres of wine per year and a turnover that is near to one billion euros, the association is a point of reference and guarantee for both the agricultural and industrial world.
Medea agents cover virtually all Italian wine regions
The association is part of the Italian Confederation of Vine and Wine.
Each week, Med &A agents produce "Piazza Affari", the Corriere Vinicolo column dedicated to the trade and quotations of the bulk market in Italy and on the French and Spanish markets too. In addition, Medea provides monthly prices to the leading German wine magazine, WEINWIRTSCHAFT.
