In 1993, Zsolt Varga started growing grapes on the south bank of the Balaton. Later, in 1999, he bought a winery on the north shore - hence the name of the winery: 2Part (2Shore). Since then, the landholding has expanded to include two more areas on the south side of the Balaton, now cultivating over 150 hectares around the lake.
Since the beginning, the wine house and the winery have been run by Zsolt Varga as a family business. Our white, red and rosé wines are produced using reductive methods from a variety of grape varieties. The grapes are harvested with our Pellenc Optimum 890 grape harvester and then transported in a closed system to the cellar where they are pressed with a Pera SP150 Smart press. After cleaning and cooling the must, fermentation is initiated by adding varietal yeast and is supervised by our expert winemaker.
